How to make water drop (on leaf) effect?

Step 1 - Open the image that you want to apply the effect.


Step 2 - Make a new layer.

Step 3 - Select Elliptical Marquee Tool.

Draw the ellipse shape on the leaf image. Make sure you draw it on the new layer.

Step 4 - Change the foreground colour to black, the background colour to white.

Use Gradient Tool to colour the ellipse.

Step 5 - Doule click at the ellipse layer and apply the Drop Shadow and Inner Shadow effect.

Step 6 - Turn the layer from Normal to Overlay.

Step 7 - Make another new layer. Name it as a Glow.

Change the change the foreground colour to white.

Use the Brush Tool to make the shining effect on the ellipse.
